Ohio’s capitol, in Columbus, was the fourteenth capitol I photographed. The Ohio capitol is unique: low and long, with a cupola that doesn’t feature a dome. My first visit here was in winter, and was the first time I took shot of the rotunda ceiling straight upwards. My second trip here was my first after switching to a full-frame camera. The building features a rear addition that provided some interesting interior photos, but overall the building and grounds are somewhat limited in photographic possibilities. These photos were taken either in December of 2012 or April of 2022.
