Colorado’s capitol, in Denver, was the third capitol I photographed. This project originated on this trip, which I took with my wife in the summer of 2012. We traveled to New Mexico and Colorado, with a day trip to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and I realized after our Cheyenne visit that I’d taken photos of both the NM and WY capitol buildings, so we visited Denver as well. I was just getting interested in photography at the time, having bought my first DSLR, so the shots I have of those first three are not as extensive as later ones; in addition, the Colorado capitol was under renovation when I visited. I hope to return there and update this one. These photos were all taken in August of 2012.
