Pennsylvania and New York, July 2023

A week and a half in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and upstate New York was a nice little getaway for the family, and offered many different photographic opportunities, from ballpark photos to low-light caverns to cityscapes. Here are a handful of photos from the trip; these have been added to the Travel page.

We started in Philadelphia, exploring downtown and seeing friends, before heading off to Pittsburgh. I’d never been to the Steel City before, and now know that two days isn’t enough - it’s a wonderful place, and I hope to get back for more sometime soon. After Pittsburgh, we spent some time with friends in central New York, including a visit to the Howe Caverns; I’ve included a few of the shots from those challenging colorful, low-light conditions here.
